The Heart of Darkness → Chapter 2

A/N—  This is a collab between me and Stargazer . Check out her blog here: FanWings Forever Jaiden woke in her bedroom the next morning as if nothing had happened. Had she dreamed it all?  Sunlight gently dappled across her face, and she felt something warm and soft on her feet. She looked towards the end of the bed, and what she saw made her heart leap. It was Storm, her light gray cat with white paws and underbelly. He purred peacefully and rolled over, revealing the long scar that trailed down his leg. Jaiden shifted herself so that she could pet him. He blinked his round golden eyes at her. “Hey boy,” she whispered as he purred at her touch. She pulled her covers back and dropped out of bed, deciding that if there was any chance the weird Atlantis city thing being Aiden’s home was a dream, she’d take it. The Heart of Darkness → Chapter 1

A/N — This is a collab between me and Stargazer . Check out her blog here: FanWings Forever “Hide.”        “How are we supposed to hide from a shadow?” Jaiden glared at her friend. Aiden gave her a withering look before turning his gaze to the sky, murmuring again. Jaiden relented. She probably sounded like a brat. “Sorry,” she...

“Born of Water”— A free verse Poem

Born of water, girl of floods, Lived like ice. Engulfed in fire, On a sleepless night. Ran away, Far from home, Born of water, All alone. Fought for justice, Reaped the Earth, Planted her fears, Girl of floods. Stalked like prey, Through the night, Girl of Ice, And cowardice. Feared herself, Lay awake, Engulfed in fire, Gone that time.  Born of water, girl of floods,  Ran away,   All alone. Burned by fire,  Betrayed by ice,  Girl of floods, Dead tonight.
