A New Blog

Hi everyone! This post is to let you know I will no longer be posting on this blog. Instead, I have made a new site that I will be posting the same kind of content on. Here's the link (Be sure to add your email to the subscription list so you don't miss any awesome new stories):  https://awriterswonderland.wixsite.com/blog Nothing is going to change except where I post my stories, and this blog will remain up for a short while longer. I'm in the process of transferring the content on this site to the new one, so you won't have to go between them to read your favorite posts.  Thank you for sticking with me, and looking forward to lots of new stories,  Nia K

The Heart of Darkness → Chapter 3

This is a Collab between me and  Dreamstar (formerly known as Stargazer)   Check out her blogs here:  Pen Post    FandomClan “I realized,” Aiden began. “That I never told you the whole story. So. I’m using my second contact to tell you enough to convince you to wait. And I only have one more of these, so don’t argue with me.” He waited for her to meet his eyes. “The shadow isn’t going to hurt anyone but you until I'm back in New York. You have to realize you and I are the ones in danger at the moment. And it’ll only attack if you provoke it, so I'm begging, Jay, begging that you stay safe. You can’t get rid of the Heart of Darkness without me. I’m what it wants. So wait… just until I can come back. Please?” He was actually crying by the last word, which was a first for Jaiden. She’d never seen him cry before, he always managed to blink back his tears. That, her nightmares, and the fact that she didn’t have a plan made her nod. Just once, but Aiden’s projection ...

The Heart of Darkness → Chapter 2

A/N—  This is a collab between me and Stargazer . Check out her blog here: FanWings Forever Jaiden woke in her bedroom the next morning as if nothing had happened. Had she dreamed it all?  Sunlight gently dappled across her face, and she felt something warm and soft on her feet. She looked towards the end of the bed, and what she saw made her heart leap. It was Storm, her light gray cat with white paws and underbelly. He purred peacefully and rolled over, revealing the long scar that trailed down his leg. Jaiden shifted herself so that she could pet him. He blinked his round golden eyes at her. “Hey boy,” she whispered as he purred at her touch. She pulled her covers back and dropped out of bed, deciding that if there was any chance the weird Atlantis city thing being Aiden’s home was a dream, she’d take it. She blinked a few times before getting dressed, realizing she was wearing the same clothes she’d worn to the park, only they were clean and not torn up. She could hear qu...

The Heart of Darkness → Chapter 1

A/N — This is a collab between me and Stargazer . Check out her blog here: FanWings Forever “Hide.”        “How are we supposed to hide from a shadow?” Jaiden glared at her friend. Hide from a shadow ? Had the blow to his head been more serious than she’d thought? How could you hide in darkness from darkness? “I know that look,” Aiden whispered. “Come on. Hide now, overthink everything later.” “Fine.” Jaiden resisted spitting the word. Aiden grabbed her arm and dragged her behind a tree, looking around frantically and murmuring under his breath.  “But seriously,” Jaiden started up again, “you do realize that we’re two teenagers stupidly hiding behind a tree from a shadow ?”  “Shut up,” he hissed. “Do you have a death wish?” “It doesn’t matter if I want to die, we will anyway!” Jaiden complained. Aiden gave her a withering look before turning his gaze to the sky, murmuring again. Jaiden relented. She probably sounded like a brat. “Sorry,” she...
